The development and innovation of lace fabrics is a constant topic. After so many years of development, our fabric manufacturers have developed many innovative products in terms of style, weaving, dyeing and finishing. However, most of the innovative fabrics are often “satisfied”, regardless of moisture wicking fabrics, radiation protection, far-infrared fabrics, the market does not buy. Why? Why the innovative products are not recognized by the market.
I think there are many reasons. The main ones are as follows.
1: It is difficult for a company to win the market alone. It requires a number of members to obtain a dynamic alliance composed of certain market opportunities to become a truly “borderless enterprise”, achieving a diminishing marginal cost and an effect of increasing the marginal benefit by 1+1>2. Why do we need a group of enterprises to develop together in order to promote the development of this market? Because the single enterprise development, the cost is high, the entire industry chain has not developed, resulting in the promotion of the dilemma.
2: Innovative things must be what consumers need. Our company should focus on the needs of our consumers and then develop them in order to win the market. This is an important issue that our company often overlooks.
3: Innovation must be based on mastering the trend of innovation, it is a process from disorder to order. Innovation must be framed, break the rules, and be in line with international fashion trends.
The most important thing is that innovation is the result of discovering needs. Fabric innovation, and even product innovation, is ultimately the improvement or decline of market acceptance, from disorder to order to reflect the essence of innovation. We summarize three viewpoints: focus on innovation, form a cooperation system, and compete in the supply chain; second, open innovation, change the closed development model, open up its own platform, attract the whole society to participate in development, and attract society. The mode of resources is transformed. The third is intangible innovation. Enterprises must innovate in intangible assets such as marketing systems and management models, and establish innovative systems that are both tangible and intangible. In other words, the orderly innovation is a correct methodology for companies to re-recognize the market, seize opportunities, and win initiative. I hope that our lace fabric companies can do better in innovation.
